Bathing platform- The rental duration for an online booking is either 2 or 3 hours, with predefined time slots.
- The booking window closes 18 hours before the start of the booking.
- A total of 3 SHORTBREAK 5.8 e-boats are available for online booking.
GROUP BOOKINGS:
The boats must maintain a minimum distance of 50 meters (!) from each other at all times. Each group remains on their assigned boat for the entire rental period.
- At check-in we require a deposit of CHF 200.00 in cash + official identification.
- Every 1/4 hour or part thereof will be charged in full.
- Incl. fully comprehensive insurance, excess CHF 1’000.00.
- We need approx. 15 minutes for the handover and instruction. Please be with us before the start of the booked time.
General Terms and Conditions
We recommend that you read our terms and conditions before booking. The terms and conditions for cancelation and postponement are as follows:
3.2 CANCELLATION AND POSTPONEMENT CONDITIONS E-BOATS SHORTBREAK 5.8
- Up to 48 hours before the start of the rental period, the full amount will be refunded, minus a cancellation fee of CHF 20.00 per boat.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the start of the rental period must be paid in full or will not be refunded.
- Cancellation insurance is the responsibility of the customer and is recommended.
- Instead of canceling, bookings can also be postponed after consultation with us. Please contact us by e-mail(mail@bootsvermietungenge.ch) stating the new desired and still available date and time. A fee of CHF 30.00 will be charged for last-minute postponements less than 48 hours before the start of the rental period.
- Due to weather conditions, bookings may also have to be canceled by Boat Rental Enge, e.g. in the event of heavy rain and/or storm warnings.
The hirer is also the skipper of the boat and is fully responsible for the boat and its occupants. He/she is fully liable for any damage to persons and property. The hirer undertakes to strictly observe the following regulations:
- Access to the shore is only permitted at the Enge boat rental.
- The minimum distance to the shore is 150 meters.
- Course boats, fishing boats and sailing boats always have right of way.
- The minimum distance to course ships is 50 meters.
- In the event of a storm warning (orange flashing light 90 times per minute), contact the Enge boat rental company immediately.
- The driver must not be under the influence of alcohol. (max. 0.5 per mille).
- Our rental boats may not be moored together or next to each other. This naturally also applies to other people’s boats.

Transfer and return
Before setting off, you will receive a briefing on the most important sailing rules and how to use the boat. You can choose between a sunbathing area or a picnic table at the front of the boat. We will help you connect your smartphone to the music system and show you how to open and close the bathing platform at the stern. You will return the boat to the same place, where we will guide and assist you with mooring.

We have designed and built our SHORTBREAK 5.8 electric boats to make socializing and chilling out on the lake as easy and enjoyable as possible. The virtually silent electric motor is located under the boat so that you and your crew can use the entire stern and a bathing platform to get in and out of the water.
